There isn’t a week when we don’t see someone in a jumpsuit. This time it’s Shibani Dandekar in Namrata Joshipura at Vogue Eyewear event. She more or else followed what the model wore on runway…….pink heels although a different style. So glad that she chose not to go with ridiculous head gear that we saw on the runway otherwise she would have looked like someone straight out of a Galactic movie

Neha Dhupia was spotted at Vir Das’ play wearing a black and white top by Ankur and Priyanka Modi teamed with black pants by Anamika Khanna. It’s a smart look no doubt but we are just not so fans of dhoti pants or those shoes. A different style of pants would have been our choice. Do you agree?

Whoops-a-daisy….. Vishakha Singh shows a bit more off herself climbing on to the stage at the launch of the first look of Bajatey Raho. Don’t think she knew that the stage would require such a big leap. Let’s hope in future she is more prepared.

Sabyasachi Mukherjee is set to close the August 23-27 winter-festive edition of the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) as the grand finale designer.

A renowned name both in India and abroad, Mukherjee’s collections have won accolades from many celebrities. He also designed Bollywood actress Vidya Balan’s look for the 66th Cannes International Film Festival.

Known for his neo-traditional designs, he said: “Presenting my collection at LFW is always a special occasion.”

“This (LFW) is where I made my debut as a designer, which provided me with a platform to be recognised by the world of fashion. Returning as a Grand Finale designer after five years is very exciting. The show promises to be truly grand,” the designer said in a statement.

If we were not that complimentary with Sonam Kapoor in Gaurang Shah her latest look in Pankaj and Nidhi is much better. With the photo being fuzzy and not really able to see her well she still manages to look more exciting and stylish.

Soha Ali Khan launched Salwaar Kameez and Kurti Fest dressed in an orange ensemble. Judging from how she looked we hardly will be rushing around to get something similar. The colour was so jarringly bright. The gold wedges…yuk. Could she not have found something more flattering to wear?

Recently, a leading newspaper carried an article which stated that Dia Mirza has defaulted paying her water dues. Clearing the news, Dia Mirza said, “I am a law abiding citizen and the amount is not such that there can ever be a doubt I would try and avoid payment. The whole issue is a result of oversight miscommunication and is unfortunate.”

The incident came as a shock to Dia as she wasn’t aware of the same and the actor is very upset with how things have turned up. Talking about the incident Gautam Mehmood, Dia’s lawyer said: “The non-payment of dues to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWWSB) was due to oversight. The water connection was taken a long time ago and Ms. Mirza was not aware of the same. There is no dispute regarding either the water connection or the dues thereof while it would be relevant to state Ms. Mirza was not aware of the water connection or the bills due regarding the same but as a responsible citizen she is doing the right thing and settling all the bills within the next 24 hours.”
