A hospital source says that Rajesh Khanna has been admitted to the Lilavati Hospital.

“Rajesh Khanna has been admitted here today (Saturday) during afternoon,”

The news of his ill health has been doing the rounds, but the 69-year-old reassured fans that all’s well with him by stepping out onto the balcony of his Bandra house here Thursday. He even waved out to his fans with a ‘V’ for victory sign.

Rajesh Khanna’s manager Ashwin said on Wednesday that the actor had stopped food intake for the “last three or four days”.

But the very next day, his son-in-law, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, told reporters: “He’s more than fine. He is absolutely fine. Thank you for your concern.”
