Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are getting ready to launch their upcoming film Teri Meri Kahaani. Yesterday saw their launch of the poster. However there is controversy as some say it has a striking similarity to the plot of a Taiwanese film Three Times.

Both the Hou Hsiao-Hsien directed film and Kohli’s film, are set over three time frames where the hero and the heroine find love in different circumstances.

However when asked about the Taiwanese film, the director denied any such resemblance. “It’s a totally different film. I haven’t seen Three Times. I read about it once. While making Teri Meri Kahaani, someone mentioned it to me, so I checked the title on IMDB. A co-incidence in the theme doesn’t make it similar. Today, you cannot get away with copying a film. If I wanted it, I’d buy the rights. But this has nothing to do with Three Times.” But after so many queries, Kohli finally said, “I think I should see this film after all.”

Is this another case of Bollywood copying another film?
