The young and vibrant designer duo Diederik Verbakel & Marieke Holthuis dubbed as the ‘Hottest Upcoming Label of the Moment’ are famed for their avante garde illustrations and hand dyed and printed silks with a keen eye for the authentic and traditional techniques.

Their collection ‘DIED’ at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2012 consisted of a unique blend of contemporary styles with faces and geometric designs.

We were fascinated by the models make up on the runway but preferred if they had not emphasized the faces as it took away the attention from the styles.
