Krishna Mehta’s magnificent collection called “Encore” had large amounts of skilful craftsmanship, arts, and textiles at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012.

The silhouettes simple, lean and elegant dazzled with exquisite embellishments in shades of like peach, ecru and salmon with touches of purple, red, black and royal blue

Fabrics used were kota doria, chanderi, georgette, tulle, velvet, lace, brocade and even cotton, which were all turned into grand festive designs and bridal creations.

Our favourite was the red long tunic over deep purple full length skirt (photo 27)
