Volvo car, the brand presented the “Icons of Luxury” collection from Ritu Beri inspired by the glamorous beauties of the ‘50s at the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012.

The outfits reminded us more of ‘My Fair Lady’ era with ladies in lace and cotton dresses. The colour included soft shades of cream with strong colours of yellow and reds. Beautiful exquisite embroidery was to be seen.

The creations were dramatic and we felt some of them too overpowering and theatrical.

We did not really have a favourite from this collection..
