Lakme Fashion Week 2012 showed a array of beautiful colours but we loved the beautiful gowns in different shades of blue ranging from midnight blue, Persian blue, ink blue, sapphire blue to baby blue.

Anita Dongre went with the darker shade of blue while Shivan and Narresh went for the lighter tone of blue for their creation. All gowns had their own unique style and were dramatic.

We predict that we will be seeing lot more of these gorgeous shades of blue on the red carpet.
