Kareena Kapoor visited the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Naturally all the ladies of Gokuldham met her. While Disha aka Daya taught her the garba steps, Kareena taught her the latka jhatka steps from her famous song halkat jawani.

Not only this Kareena also taught Daya Ben the trick for a perfect pout to give the perfect killer photo shot. “Kareena has shown me how to do a photo shoot, how to pose, what not to do. It was real fun learning all this,” comments actor Disha Wakha

Kareena is the fourth Kapoor visiting the sets. Before her Neetu & Rishi Kapoor and then recently Ranbir have also come to the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to promote their films.

Kareena Kapoor’s female protagonist is at the heart of Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming film, Heroine. But in a movie that promises to take you behind the scenes of Bollywood, how can one forget the male superstar and the as-much-in-the-public-eye star wife?

The character of the star wife in Heroine is played by Rashmi Nigam. In the film, she is the wife of actor Sanjay Suri’s character who is an established star.

Rashmi says, “My role shows what a star’s wife has to go through. When relationships and rumours start cropping up around the actor, it makes her jealous. Yet, she wants to see her husband shine.”

Shah Rukh Khan became sentimental as he remembered his late father on his death anniversary Wednesday.

“Where shall I find you now, in which garden can we sit? Where might you and I chat for a bit? My father’s ‘barsi’ today. 31 years without him,” tweeted the 46-year-old.

Shah Rukh recently fulfilled one of his father’s wish by visiting Kashmir. The superstar was there to shoot Yash Chopra’s “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”, and shot in Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Srinagar for it.

Still a few more days to go before the release for and Bhandarkar Entertainment’s film Heroine and Madhur and Kareena are taking no break from the promotions.

The film is based on the life of a superstar, Mahi Arora. Mahi, portrayed by actress Kareena Kapoor, goes through ups and downs, which have been captured on screen brightly by the National Award winning film director. Glamour, love, lies, fame, fans and fortune… the story take you on a journey with Mahi and her emotions.

Kajol wants everyone to celebrate a clean and eco-friendly Ganesh festival, which kick started Wednesday.

“Please, all of you, go ahead celebrate an eco-friendly Ganpati and make sure that whatever happens, at the end of the day you are there to clean up and to make sure that you don’t litter the city more than you already have,” the 38-year-old said here.

About her own celebration this Ganpati, Kajol said: “I think welcoming Ganpati begins from the heart and I feel god is around us 24 hours, 365 days of the year. I believe in that more than just keeping a special day for Ganpati.”
