Kareena Kapoor was snapped shooting for her latest film Heroine which also stars Arjun Rampal. Originally Madhur Bhandarkar had chosen Aishwarya Rai for the role but due to her getting pregnant she opted out.

Madhur Bhandarkar is already showing praise on Kareena Kapoor’s acting even saying that this is going to one of her best film ever. Kareena Kapoor herself is making sure that she is giving her best.

Nandana Sen says that her role of Radha in Ashvin Kumar’s “The Forest” is the oldest she has ever played and one which is “silk and steel”, revealing both a sharp tongue and a soft heart.

“In ‘The Forest’ I played a character much older than any role I’ve ever been cast in till date. I incorporated into Radha a great deal of interiority and maturity – sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, confident yet fragile; Radha is all silk and steel. Honestly, I would not play her any differently were I to play the same role now,” said Nandana.

Esha Gupta says she has been a fan of Bipasha Basu, with whom she shares screen space in “Raaz 3″.

“I have been a big fan of Bipasha. I have seen her on the big screen and the scene in which she comes out of the sea wearing a white gown (in ‘Jism’). Left a strong impact on me. In fact not only on me, but millions in our country and I was one of those. Now I am really honoured that she is my co-star in ‘Raaz 3′,” Esha said.

Esha, who is creating waves with her performance in “Jannat 2″, was conscious that Bipasha is her senior and so she made it a point not to have many retakes.

He is tasting success film after film, but Emraan Hashmi is not willing to  fit into the category of Bollywood’s A-list stars. He doesn’t want to play it safe and says he is ready to take risks just as he has done with every project so far.

“I have never really wanted to sort myself and other actors by that list. I have always done films that I  believed in and yes it is very important for box office collections to do well. I have never really wanted to belong,” the 33-year-old said.

The actor has delivered consecutive hits with “Murder 2″, “The Dirty Picture” and “Jannat 2″.

“I’d rather not belong to a particular list and just do films I probably did four years back. I don’t want to get safer with the success of ‘Jannat 2′. I want to do riskier films and make them a success,” he added.

He also admits that the masses’ verdict matters over the classes’ opinion for him.

Director Vikas Bahl is all set to make a chick flick, titled Queen, with Kangana Ranaut taking the lead role.

“I am in the middle of scripting stage. All I can say is it is a chick flick, titled Queen. The pre-production work is going on,” Vikas Bahl said.

Kangana Ranaut will play the lead role in Queen. “We have Kangana Ranuat in the film, she plays a girl from Delhi. We are in the middle of casting,”

The shooting for the film will begin from August.

Kangana’s schedule is certainly full at the moment with the sequel toTanu Weds Manu, Shootout At Wadala, Dedh Ishqiya and Krissh 3.

Emraan Hashmi has delivered again at the box office with his latest film Jannat 2 which also stars Esha Gupta. Jannat 2 not only registered excellent figures at the box office but also turned a profit in its opening weekend. On the other hand, the film Fatso flopped big time.

Prakhar Joshi, head of a national multiplex chain, said , “The music and good pre-release promotion has ensured that the film sustains on Monday-Tuesday also. Besides, the ongoing vacations will also help.”

The film had according to sources had a budget of Rs 16-17 crore including print and advertising, and in its first three days its collections is already at Rs 23 crore.

However Fatso failed to impress. A distributor of the film in North India said “The audience just wasn’t interested in seeing Fatso.” We are not surprised !!

Shanghai, director Dibakar Banerjee has come out with the music launch of film. The songs are already a big hit which include“Bharat Mata Ki Jai” the item song “Imported Kamariya” and a Sufi song “Khudaaya”.

The songs are catchy and the music directors of the movie Vishal & Shekhar are confident that the songs will entertain the public.

The film stars Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin and Prosenjit Chatterjee and will premiere at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Singapore on June 7, organisers have announced.
