When it comes to fashion and style, Deepika Padukone puts the best foot forward. The model-turned-actress feels it is good to keep up with the times, but suggests fashion trends should not be followed blindly.

“Don’t try and follow fashion blindly. Yes, of course, trends keep changing, fashion keeps changing and people believe that you should keep up with the times and I don’t think that’s a bad thing to do. But think at the same time, you should not forget your own personality, the person that you are, your body type, your confidence level and dress accordingly,” said the actress while sharing fashion tips at an event.

Tejaswini Kolhapure who is the daughter of renowned classic singer Pandharinath Kolhapure, and the sister of popular Bollywood actress Padmini Kolhapure was spotted at Cannes Film Festival. She wore a Pria Kataria long gown with gold embellishments and sparkle detailed waist band. We agree that it’s not the glamorous look that some has been exhibiting and may we add with hordes of help….it was finally nice to see a more down to earth simplistic but elegant look.

We just had to share with Cara Delevingne red carpet look at for ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere. Wearing a Burberry black gown….which we adored..she teamed it up with Chopard trinkets, gorgeous red lippy and dark nails. The most endearing thing was the loose wisps of hair trying to get away. Loved the look which she manages to make it look so innocently effortless.

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the man behind styling Vidya Balan’s look at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival, says that as “India is known as a bling country” he used a “little embellishment” to bring freshness.

Vidya made three appearances in traditional Indian costumes – maroon lehenga, an ivory sari paired with a brown blouse and light pink anarkali – on three different occasions on the festival inaugural day Wednesday.

Mukherjee says she was dressed in “a purist ethnic look, almost like a Golconda princess”.
