The city of Ahmedabad welcomed with open arms the new on screen couple – Sonam Kapoor & Dhanush. The Raanjhanaa pair was all decked up to be a part of Campus Blues – Denim Fest held at Globus store in Ahmedabad.

This time Sonam Kapoor dressed up in Gaurang Shah. The ensemble looked voluminous and creased on her. Perhaps that was the intentional look of the material but can say that this is a not a favourite look of ours. It’s too much and Sonam Kapoor is not with grips with her dupatta which appears to be neither here or there but just everywhere!!

When it comes to style stakes Deepika Padukone barely get its wrong. At the launch of Vogue Eyewear’s latest range she stepped out in a red lacy Pankaj and Nidhi dress. A slight change in the neckline that was modelled on runway it was her hourglass figure that grabbed our attention although her collar bone was tad bit distracting. Still we can say va va voom.

It’s not only Sonam Kapoor who is turning up to the promotions in designer wear but also her co-star Dhanush who was spotted wearing Anita Dongre Menswear for the promotions of Raanjhanaa in Ahmedabad. Looking very dashing we think and great to see that denims can look extra cool with a white jacket.

She is young, vivacious and has played the love struck romantic in real life, but Sonam Kapoor confesses that she has not been lucky when it came to love in real life.

Born with a silver spoon, the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and former model Sunita was said to be dating “I Hate Luv Storys” director Punit Malhotra and was also romantically linked to her “Mausam” co-star Shahid Kapoor.

But in a candid confession, she said: “My love life has been quite unsuccessful. I am single, but I think human beings have the capacity to love.”

In this original Indian adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet directed by Manish Tiwary, we see the story transposed to Banaras and its neighbouring areas that are witness to violence unleashed by sand mafia controlled by urban elite and equally violent retaliation by Naxalite armies. The sand mafia is run by two influential Banarasi families, Kashyaps and Mishras, who are at brutal feud with each other.

Kashyap has an 18-year old, pretty and innocent daughter Bachchi from his first wife, Bachchi’s role is played by Amyra Dastur who marks her debut in this film. On the other hand, Mishra’s son Rahul (Played by Prateik) is a good-looking teenager with predictable interests for a boy of his background – Girls & Guns!

The stunning Pooja Misrra was recently spotted at Eros Hilton Hotel in Delhi judging and hosting Miss North India 2013. Well we know Pooja is a multi tasker and to see her play both the roles immaculately was sure a pleasure.

When we quizzed the lady, here is what she said “For the first time I judged as well as compared at an event! It sure was a busy evening as I did not have a moment to breathe but that’s what made it exciting! Besides no one understands the contestants better than a master of ceremonies so I think I got to know the girls well therefore did justice to them as a judge”.

At her latest sightings she opted for a green and pink Anupamaa Dayal saree with Amrapali jewels looking very fresh and summery. Do like the simplicity of the saree.
