Abhishek Bachchan, who won the best actor comic award Saturday at the TOIFA for his funny role in “Bol Bachchan”, dedicated it to wife Aishwarya Rai and also thanked the entire cast and crew of the film for believing in him.

“‘Bol Bachchan’ is very, very special film to me and I stand here in front of you humbly receiving the award,” said Abhishek and thanked the film’s director Rohit Shetty and co-star Ajay Devgn for “having faith in me”.

Apart from the film’s cast and crew, the 37-year-old also made a special mention of his actress wife Aishwayra Rai in the acceptance speech Saturday.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took a rather long break after the birth of her daughter but we are now seeing more of her at various events and functions…..hurrah. The latest event she has attended is the Filmfare Awards press conference

At the press conference she wore a champagne Sabyasachi outfit which was accented with intricate detail work.

With her hair down, amazing eyes and flawless makeup we think she looks gorgeous.

Amitabh Bachchan, who celebrates his 70th birthday on Oct 11 says the greatest gift ever is the intangible love of his family – his wife, children and grandchildren, whose warmth and affection keep him going steady in his personal and professional life.

He also gives special importance to his late parents – the renowned poet Harivanshrai Bachchan and his wife Teji.

“I look forward to spending time with my family. All the gifts and presents that I needed have already come my way – the blessings of my parents, which I consider the largest gift, and their presence in my life through all the upbringing that they gave me,” Amitabh told reporters in an interview at his office, Janak.

 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s recent weight gain has recently had the media talking. Unlike other actresses who openly talk about getting fit and their diets plans there have been no comments from Aishwarya herself.

Probably the only time Aishwarya went to the gym was in the course of her acting in Yash Chopra’s Dhoom 2. For this film Aishwarya needed to look the part and show herself as very fit and sensual person. We don’t think Aishwarya needed to do anything to her figure for that role. She had a perfect figure anyway.

Aishwarya Rai, currently on a sabbatical after being in the industry for over a decade, says she was happy to have worked with different directors.

“I am glad to have worked with different directors on different roles. I had always been greedy to work with different directors on different characters,” Aishwarya said on the television show “India’s Glam Diva”.

It has been reported by TOI that ‘Beti B’ daughter of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Bachchan has been named Aaradhya Bachchan.

The Bachchans have taken some time in revealing their baby’s name but it’s no surprise that her name begins with ‘A’. Somehow we think that Beti B name will still be round.
