Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor were voted as India’s most popular mother-son and Tanuja-Kajol as best mom-daughter team in an online poll conducted by Shaadi.com.

The poll, conducted on the occasion of Mother’s Day, suggested that 82.26 per cent of Indian women believe that actress Neetu and her actor-son Ranbir share the popular mother-son relationship.

Actress Tanuja and her actress-daughter Kajol topped the most popular mother-daughter relationship list with 60.48 per cent votes.

Popular Bollywood couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai completed six years of marital bliss Saturday.

Actress Bipasha Basu took to Twitter to wish the much-loved couple a “happy anniversary”.

“Happy Anniversary to the beautiful couple Junior Bachchan (Abhishek) and Ash! Happiness forever, together,” tweeted Bipasha.

Aishwarya and Abhishek tied the knot April 20, 2007 as per Hindu rituals at a ceremony at Bachchans’ Juhu residence Prateeksha. It was a lavish affair, and attracted media attention from all quarters.

The couple was blessed with a baby girl November 16, 2011. She was named Aaradhya. Recently, both Abhishek and Aishwarya took the stage individually to perform at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) in Vancouver.

With Easter just round the corner we are bombarded with yellow colour everywhere so getting in the yellow mood we decided to see if any of the celebs have been seen in the colour recently

We purposely did not want to pick anyone on or off the ramp from the recent fashion shows (need a break from the shows!) We picked out Amrita Puri, Eveyln Sharma and Aishwarya Rai all recently seen in shades of yellow.

Our favourite is deffo Evelyn Sharma in daffodil yellow……..

Chitrangada Singh styled by Aastha Sharma and Mohit Rai choose an orange Nupur Kanoi outfit to wear at Forbes Million Race while Aishwarya Rai at press meet for Kalyan Jewellers opted for a green Naupur Kanoi anarkali.

If you ever thought of flaunting traditional yet contemporary designs by celebrated designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and the price tags put you off, don’t fret. He says he is planning to cater to the Indian masses with an affordable line.

“Getting into mass market is the plan I have for India since a very long time. In fact, I am slowly growing my market and I think in the next three or four years, almost everybody in India who are from some average bracket, will be able to afford Sabyasachi,” Mukherjee told reporters.

Known for his neo-traditional designs, he has also designed costumes for Bollywood films like “Babul”, “Laaga Chunari Mein Daag” and “Raavan”, and he provides to a star clientele including actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee.

Once again we see that Aishwarya Rai has clad herself in her favourite designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla at NDTV’s Support My School event.

We feel a yawn coming on. Not complaining how she looks. In fact she looks terrific in all black ensembles but just wish that we see her in some other designers as well.

Designer Ritu Kumar, active in fashion industry for the last 40 years, has been named for the Padma Shri award on the eve of 64th Republic Day.

The designer, who began her work with four block printers and two tables in a small village near Calcutta 40 years ago, was the first woman to introduce the ’boutique’ culture in India under the brand name ‘Ritu’.

Her growth and success can be estimated from the fact that today; her outlets have footprints in 14 cities in the country.
