Gemstones by Shuddhi Jewels and clothes by Archana Kochhar were the first two collections that were unveiled on the ramp at the fourth edition of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW)

Shriya Saran was the show showstopper for Shuddhi Jewels representing women as the fourth element – earth.

Ankita Shorey, brand ambassador of Gitanjali jewels, also walked the ramp for Shuddhi Jewels in a yellow and red sari.

Shuddhi Jewels is a joint venture between Gitanjali group and MMTC.

The crowd took a breath of surprise as Anju Modi themed her collection as an ode to patriotism at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2013. Structured fabrics with drape-like sarees, her collection could not be described as anything other than fresh.

Models strutted around in military headgear as the stage was filled with patriotic songs to support the theme. Actress Ankita Shorey was the show stopper for her show. Keeping the theme strictly desi, Anju Modi experimented with different fabrics in traditional wear for men and women to create a delectable presentation for her fans.

At Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012, Jyotsna Tiwari proved her expertise in presenting opulent bridal gowns in a collection called Mystical Romance.

Opening the show was the lovely Ankita Shorey, Miss India 2011 and the face of the Aamby Valley Bridal Fashion Week 2012; in a white net and silk layered one- shoulder gown with gold zari work.

Sonakshi Sinha star of several Bollywood hits looked fabulous in a stunning Jyotsna Tiwari shocking pink floral embroidered silk lehenga.

The gorgeous jewellery by Amar Ghana Singh added to the dazzle of the creations and gave the collection that bridal look that made all the difference to the show.

Ankita Shorey, Miss India International 2011 has now been signed on as ambassador for leading jewellery brand Gitanjali -— also endorsed by Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan —making her the first non-actress to be signed on by the brand

An excited Ankita Shorey said “It gives me a certain sense of achievement to be placed on the same platform as some of the biggest A-list actresses –it’s an honour”.
