Big-budget Indian movies are setting trends in high-end fashion and costume designing; say Falguni and Shane Peacock, who have designed for the likes of Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez as well as Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu back home.

“Indian cinema and fashion have always gone hand in hand. In each time period, a fashion trend has evolved due to Indian cinema. So, for instance, the 1970s saw the hippie trend and flower power in Indian cinema. The current Indian cinema is very big on high-end fashion,” Falguni told IANS.

Added Shane: “We have big budget movies such as ‘Cocktail’, ‘Student of The Year’ and ‘Race 2′, which spent a lot of money on designer wear and designer bags or shoes. Every era has created a different fashion statement. India as a country is very big on Bollywood so everything seen on our actors and actresses is aped by generations.”

Bipasha Basu has flaunted her perfect curves in movies like “Jism”, “Dhoom 2″ and “Players” but says she never takes help of supplements to keep herself toned.

The 34-year-old follows a strict diet plan.

“I love my food and get all the required nutrition from food only, no supplements. I am eating healthier stuff like stir-fried vegetables, spinach, chicken soup, grilled mushrooms or fish and eggs in all forms,” Bipasha, who was last seen in “Aatma”, said in a statement.

Don’t you all think that Bipasha Basu should get to know her Green Cross Code! Every time we see she seems wary of walking alone or crossing roads. At least she has some holding her hand but seriously aren’t we taught the Green Cross Code at school.

On separate note Bipasha Basu is wearing a coral bandage Hervé Léger dress. We are sure that she has worn it before somewhere.

Bipasha Basu, who will next feature in an athletic avatar in Vikram Bhatt’s “Creature”, has taken to the TRX Rip trainer, a portable training tool, to develop a toned physique for the film.

TRX Rip trainer is a huge fad in Singapore and the 34-year-old feels that the tool will help her in attaining a “leaner and toned” body.

“I saw TRX Rip training in Singapore and I bought it. I will start shooting for my thriller ‘Creature’ from June and I need a particular kind of body for the film. I have to be much leaner and toned. I had put on a little weight for my last film ‘Aatma’ and need to lose that,” Bipasha said in a statement.

Four Bollywood babies got caught out and about with their hair down. Ameesha Patel in her iconic velour tracksuit by Juicy Couture, Bipasha Basu in black legging and blue top, Diz Mirza looking wide eyed in her printed pants and Anushka Sharma who literally ran to her car in white shorts and top. Don’t we all know the feeling being caught off guard……but hey we are not stars!

Bipasha Basu was snapped outside Bunglaow 9 a restaurant in Mumbai enjoying a day out with the girls [sisters’ maybe]. Bipasha wearing skinny denims and black top, cage sandals show’s that it’s easy to look casual and smart. She did however find it difficult crossing the road and needed a helping hand .
