Abhishek Bachchan, who won the best actor comic award Saturday at the TOIFA for his funny role in “Bol Bachchan”, dedicated it to wife Aishwarya Rai and also thanked the entire cast and crew of the film for believing in him.

“‘Bol Bachchan’ is very, very special film to me and I stand here in front of you humbly receiving the award,” said Abhishek and thanked the film’s director Rohit Shetty and co-star Ajay Devgn for “having faith in me”.

Apart from the film’s cast and crew, the 37-year-old also made a special mention of his actress wife Aishwayra Rai in the acceptance speech Saturday.

Asin Thottumkal wants a change after featuring in back-to-back comedies – “Ready”, “Housefull 2″ and “Bol Bachchan”.

Asked for the reason behind the string of comedy projects, Asin told reporters: “I would like to change that. I have a soft spot for this universally appealing, fun, emotional stories, not that I have an affinity towards comedy as a genre.

Abhishek Bachchan held a special screening of “Bol Bachchan” for his “Dostana” friend John Abraham, and the two couldn’t stop themselves from showing their admiration for each other.

Asked for his reactions on the comedy film, John said: “The movie was good. Genuinely I love comedies, I enjoyed the film so much. Ajay (Devgn) is brilliant, Abhishek is just outstanding and I am so happy seeing him in the film because he really made me laugh.”

Abhishek indulged in some ‘dostana’ with John.

“He (John) is biased about me. He is my jiggly-poo right… and so I am biased towards him as well. I am very happy he saw the film,” said Abhishek.

Gasp!! Prachi Desai attends Bol Bachchans promotions in same or nearly same outfit.

For the special screening of Bol Bachchan Prachi wore white skinny pants with a sheer black blouse but whoops we could make out her dotty bra underneath and for the second promo event Prachi jumps into the same pants with a different style but nevertheless a black blouse.

Well okay she managed not to reveal her undergarments second time round and we don’t mind celebs wearing the same style twice but in a short space of time it’s really unexciting.

Bol Bachchan cast Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Prachi Desai with Rohit Shetty gave their fans a treat by handing out free tickets for their film at Fame Adlabs-Inorbit Mall.

This is the first time that fans have been able to get free movie tickets for a film and get to rub shoulders with the cast as well

But where was Asin? This is not the first time that she has been missing at the promotions.

Movie time for Ritesha and Genelia and both opted for rocking checked shirts for an off-duty style.
