Amrita Rao attended the premiere of Jolly LLB which stars Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani and herself in Mumbai.

She wore a champagne coloured Neeta Lulla outfit that we found somewhat different than that was on the ramp. A closer inspection revealed that the model had the front parting showing off the pink border while Amrita kept the front closed for most of the time.

We don’t think that she came alive in the outfit, maybe it’s because the ensemble looked better on the model than her.

Director Bela Sehgal is all smiles about the response to her movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi and says she doesn’t rule out making a sequel to the romantic comedy.

“You never know I might make a part two as well,” Sehgal, sister of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali told reporters here Saturday.

Shirin Farhad released Friday, features Boman Irani opposite choreographer-director Farah Khan, who has made her acting debut with the project.

Boman Irani and Farah Khan promoted ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ at Enrich Salons and Academy, the largest chain of unisex salons in India.

Strange place for promotions but according to Rohit Dedhia, owner of Enrich Salons and Academy the presence of the two stars will add charm to the brand.

Looks like Farah Khan and Boman Irani did enjoy themselves and Boman got a bit of grooming help form his co star.

Farah Khan never had an issue with her weight, but after seeing herself in her acting debut “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi”, she has become health conscious.

“When I was doing the film, I was around 82 kg. I didn’t realise that it is important for me to look glamorous. But when I saw the movie, I realised that I was looking so fat. Then I decided I need to lose some weight,” Farah said.

Farah plays a 40-plus Parsi woman in the movie, directed by Bela Sehgal. The film features Boman Irani in the role of her lover.

Boman Irani dressed as Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) and Farah Khan was dressed as Anjali (Kajol) from Kuch Kuch Hota Ha for their poster launch of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi.

Even though the poster of the film was a recreation of a still from KKHH, director Bela Sehgal clarified that it has nothing to do with her film and was a mere “promotional” activity.

For director-turned-actress, Farah, the toughest part was to get up in the morning and get ready for her shot.

“For me, the worst part was to do hair and make up in the morning and then to go and do romantic scenes with Boman. But Bela made me feel very comfortable,” she said.

She has choreographed quite a few hit dance numbers and now choreographer-director-actor Farah Khan will be seen grooving herself to an item number in “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi”, which marks her acting debut.

Talking about the item number, Farah tweeted: “Have woken up 1 hour earlier than alarm in xcitemnt. ‘Joker’ ad out n I’m shootng an item song 4 ‘Shirin Farhad…’ bt this time I’m dancing! surreal.”

“Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi” also stars Boman Irani opposite Farah and is the story of a 40-plus unmarried man and a woman. The film hits theatres Aug 24.

Tezz is a Hindi action thriller film directed by Priyadarshan. The film’s cast include Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Boman Irani, Kangana Ranaut, Sameera Reddy, and Zayed Khan.

The film has hit the theatres on 27 April, 2012 and the cast wait to see if they can have a success at the box office.
Have a look at the cast promoting the film…..wait where is Kangana? Gossip is that all is not well between her and Ajay Devgn and both avoid one another.

Lets hope this little tiff does not affect the success of the film too much.

Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn took over the racing track to show each other who is ‘Tezz’! in Lamborghinis

The actors, who were here Monday to promote their forthcoming film “Tezz”, took everyone by surprise with their stylish entry.

Both the actors tried their hands on the Italian super sports car and were fascinated by its speed on the 5.14 km-track, which was developed for the country’s inaugural Formula One Grand Prix last year.

“The highest speed at which we drove today was 260 kmph. I’ve never done such an act before in my life,” Anil told reporters here post the casual race, in which Ajay was faster.
