“Saif is a very encouraging and entertaining co-actor. He has a great sense of humour and it is always lovely working with him,” Deepika told reporters.
The 27-year-old, who made her debut with “Om Shanti Om” in 2007, first worked with Saif in the 2009 hit romantic-drama “Love Aaj Kal”, in which their on-screen chemistry was appreciated by the audience.
The launch of Deepika Padukone’s official Facebook page has created a massive buzz on social media. She already holds a strong digital presence, with a whooping 2.6 million followers on Twitter. However, with the introduction of her Facebook page, her Internet fan base is expected to rise and reach over 5 million, soon.
Deepika’s official Facebook page looks more like a reflection of her life, marking a few milestones in both her career and personal life. Simply put, her page is informative, interesting and fun, along with lots of photos from her childhood to her current acting career today. Now, how could a Deepika fan resist that!
After two back-to-back hits, Cocktail and Race 2, Deepika is extremely excited about her recently launched Facebook page. Citing her excitement, she said, “I have never been on Facebook before. Now with this launch, I am really excited to be on this interactive platform and be able to connect with my fans!”

One of the A-list actresses, she has some good projects in hand like “Chennai Express” with Shah Rukh Khan and “Rana” with southern superstar Rajinikanth.
“I think there are two ways to look at it. Everybody doesn’t get to do each and every film. I don’t compete with others; I compete with myself. I have been an athlete, a sportsperson; so I know how to be competitive in a healthy way,” Deepika, a former badminton player whose father, Prakash Padukone, was a national badminton champion and won the coveted All-England badminton crown, told reporters in an exclusive interview.
“I am more than happy I was part of ‘Cocktail’. It was the most satisfying experience to do the film. The audience really appreciated me a lot in ‘Cocktail’,” Deepika told reporters.
“I think the role is more important. It is a misconception that a glamorous role doesn’t require acting talent. It’s a bit strange, because I think at the end of the day, any kind of film — whether it is glamorous or ‘de-glam’ (non-glamorous) – requires acting. Acting is acting,” Deepika told reporters in an exclusive interview.
Saif Ali Khan, as far as Kareena Kapoor is concerned, is not just the perfect husband but also the perfect actor who can’t be slotted in any genre. Besides, his intelligence and varied work make him stand out in Bollywood.
“Saif is a wonderful actor. He is a thinking actor who is way ahead of time.
He does some great work, and he is an intelligent actor. He is fun also,” Kareena told reporters in an exclusive interview.
“He does a ‘Cocktail’, an ‘Omkara’, an ‘Agent Vinod’ – that’s what Saif’s USP is. He can never be slotted in any kind of genre. He is versatile. He is the only Khan, I feel… he is a very intelligent person,” she added about her husband.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are back in town after their vacation in London. So we heard that Saif Ali Khan wanted to celebrate his birthday away from home and London was the perfect place for an intimate get together…with his lady love of course.
Another reason why Saif went to London was apparently there was too much media attention on when they will get married and also he wanted to celebrate the success of his film Cocktail.
So now they are back and the media can get churning again when and where they will get married.
Won’t it be better if they just went ahead and tied the knot?
