Sonakshi Sinha ‘Really looking forward to it. Feels like ‘Dabangg’ deja vu’
Sonakshi Sinha has signed up her debut Telugu project Mahesh Babu-starrer “Shivam” to be directed by Krish. She says the project and its crew takes her back in time when she forayed into Bollywood with “Dabangg”.
Sonakshi will play a character named Meenakshi in the movie, director Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi told reporters.
“The character is called Meenakshi. She has the most beautiful eyes, and it is so ironic it happens to be Sonakshi, a name which means golden eyes.
“I was on the lookout for a beautiful, elegant and regal character, and Sonakshi happens to fit the bill. It was after I saw ‘Dabangg’; I knew I found the character for my next film. Prabhudeva helped me get in touch with her,” added Krish.
Sonakshi Sinha excited to be working with Saif Ali Khan and considers it ‘fresh pairing’
After working with names like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, actress Sonakshi Sinha is now excited about working with Saif Ali Khan in “Bullet Raja”. She considers it a “fresh pairing”.
“It’s a very fresh pairing and I am looking forward to work with Saif Ali Khan. I actually wanted to work with him for quite some time, and luckily got an opportunity with ‘Bullet Raja’. I am extremely excited to work with Saif,” Sonakshi told reporters.
Sonakshi Sinha ‘I always take guidance from my parents. It’s a combined decision’
Being a star kid has its own perks. Sonakshi Sinha says she always turns to her parents – Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha – for advice when it comes to her career decisions.
“I always take guidance from my parents. It’s a combined decision. They have been in the industry for 30 to 35 years, which is not a joke,” Sonakshi told reporters.
“The kind of experience which they have, I don’t think I will be able to have all of that anytime soon. So I always like to take their opinion,” she added.
After “Son of Sardaar”, which released Nov 13, Sonakshi is now looking forward to the release of her “Dabangg 2″, which is the sequel to 2010 blockbuster “Dabangg”. Featuring Salman Khan, it will hit the screens Dec 21.

Sonakshi Sinha ‘I don’t choose my roles based on what my character will wear’
Many feel that Sonakshi Sinha choose her roles on the basis of her look in the film, but the actress denies it saying she gives importance to “character”.
“I don’t choose my roles based on what my character will wear. The roles that I have chosen till date, I have liked the characters and situations of the film. If I get to play a character who will wear western clothes and if I am comfortable, I will do it,” Sonakshi told reporters.

Malaika Arora Khan, who has a string of successful item numbers like “Chhaiya chhaiya”, “Munni badnaam” and “Anarkali disco chali” to her credit, says she never wanted to be an actor, and so she doesn’t miss it at all.
“Except for some small roles, I have never acted so I can’t really miss it. I never wanted to do acting so it never really cropped up my mind. I love dancing and will continue to do till I can,” Malaika told reporters.
The 39-year-old, who is married to actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan, has done cameo in films like “Bichhoo”, “Indian”, “Kaante” and “Housefull”.
Sonakshi Sinha : I am not that kind of a person to wear a bikini
Sonakshi Sinha, who donned an Indian look in her debut film “Dabangg” and will continue her tryst with traditional outfits in her upcoming films as well, says she is not comfortable wearing a bikini on screen.
“It’s a complete no-no to bikini because I am not that kind of a person. I have been bought up in a certain way. I have certain restrictions that I follow and I don’t see any reason to change it because if the audience has accepted me fully clothed, then why would I resort to it” said Sonakshi.
The 24-year-old will be seen in her desi avatar in “Rowdy Rathore”, “Joker”, “Once Upon a Time Again”, “Dabangg 2″, “Son Of Sardar” and “lootera”.
“I am a normal Indian girl who wears jeans and T shirts normally. Born and brought up in Mumbai, so I am used to wearing clothes like that,” Sonakshi added.
Salman Khan hoping for a smash hit with his film Ek Tha Tiger
Salman Khan’s past films released during the Eid festival have become hits and managed to fetch massive collections at the box office. His upcoming Yash Raj’s film, Ek Tha Tiger opposite Katrina Kaif is all set to release during the coming Eid weekend.

Salman Khan has turned into a businessman – he has invested in the online travel portal Yatra.com and will also be the face of its new marketing campaign in India and the US. Not a bad investment considering Salman Khan travels a lot.
