Arbaaz Khan, who recently directed “Dabangg 2″, says he would not try making a sex comedy or even a dark comedy. Not because he feels there’s anything wrong in it, but he believes one should only do those things that reflect a bit of their own personality.

Asked if he is interested in making a film of that genre, Arbaaz said: “As a whole, maybe not, because I think one should only do things that also reflect a bit of their own personality.”

“A film that you produce, write or direct should reflect the taste that you have in films. Even when a distributor is buying a film, he is putting money on a film that he thinks is a good film to promote.”

Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha were named the worst actor and actress at the fifth edition of Golden Kela Awards here Saturday, while Shirish Kunder’s “Joker” was adjudged the worst film of the year.

Kunder was also named for the worst director for “Joker”, winning the award titled “Beta Tumse Na Ho Payega”.

Ajay Devgn won Worst Actor (male) for Ashwni Dhir’s “Son of Sardar” and Rohit Shetty’s “Bol Bachchan”. Sonakshi Sinha got Worst Female award for everything she has done so far including hits like “Dabangg”, “Dabangg 2″ and “Rowdy Rathore”.

Sonakshi Sinha has signed up her debut Telugu project Mahesh Babu-starrer “Shivam” to be directed by Krish. She says the project and its crew takes her back in time when she forayed into Bollywood with “Dabangg”.

Sonakshi will play a character named Meenakshi in the movie, director Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi told reporters.

“The character is called Meenakshi. She has the most beautiful eyes, and it is so ironic it happens to be Sonakshi, a name which means golden eyes.

“I was on the lookout for a beautiful, elegant and regal character, and Sonakshi happens to fit the bill. It was after I saw ‘Dabangg’; I knew I found the character for my next film. Prabhudeva helped me get in touch with her,” added Krish.

Genelia D Souza and hubby Riteish Deshmukh attended Dabangg 2 premiere and Police Show Umang with Genelia opting to wear a lengha by Manish Malhotra at the premiere and Rohit Bal at Umang 2013.

What is interesting is the choice of colours. Clearly loves blue, be it electric blue or dusky blue. Rather sweet to see that Riteish jacket labels are colour coordinated with Genelia’s lengha.

We think she looks so much better with her hair down. It makes her look more sophisticated and trendier.

Ameesha Patel arrived for Dabnagg 2 premiere in Love Pink logo T shirt printed on an almost similar background to star and stripes.

She teamed it up with white frayed hot pants shorts showing off her perfect pins.

Have to admire Ameesha’s confidence. Not everyone can pull off this look.

Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Arora both attended the premiere of Dabangg 2. Malaika Arora showed of her figure in a yellow and white strapless floor sweeping gown while Amrita Arora wore a Vikram Phadnis off white outfit.

Both sisters left their hair loose. Not at all surprised at Amrita’s choice of designer. Malaika (in Shehlaa outfit) as always looked polished but did not feel that either one of them was ‘sizzling’

Raveena Tandon attended the unveiling of the special anniversary issue of Society Interiors magazine.

Raveena showed off her wild side in a long brown animal print tunic teamed with brown pants. Wish she had worn a different style of shoe as they make her look frumpy.

With no time to change she was off to Dabangg 2 premiere as gathered from her tweet: “Wit Sk at the dabangg premiere.clicked this pic for my daughter whose a big fan of Sks,sharing wit ull!”
