“I am a multi-tasker. I can do two things together. I am very strict with myself and my kids too. I handle my diet and I am responsible for my health,” she told reporters in an interview.

During her long and successful innings in the filmdom, she churned out hits like “Tezaab”, “Beta”, “Dil”, “Dil To Pagal Hai”. However, her comeback film after her marriage with the US-based doctor.

She has signed Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Dedh Ishqiya” and Anubhav Sinha’s “Gulab Gang”, exciting her fans.

“I am trying to explore new roles and do different types of films for you. Want to challenge myself as an actor! Having fun. I think you will be thrilled with the roles. They are powerful, moving and will leave an impression! More films to come,” she tweeted.

Madhuri DixitMadhuri Dixit who has settled back in Mumbai after a time-out from Bollywood is devouring on Alphonso mangoes.

“It is mango season in Mumbai. Had forgotten how good the hapoose amba (Alphonso mango) could be,” tweeted Madhuri.

The 44-year-old was perhaps missing the taste of local mangoes as she had shifted to Denver after marrying US-based surgeon Sriram Nene. Now she is back in Mumbai for good with her husband and two children – Arin, nine and Raayan, seven.

Madhuri Dixit seems to be on movie signing spree. After Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Dedh Ishqiya”, the actress has accepted Anubhav Sinha’s “Gulab Gang”.

“Just signed a second film called ‘Gulab Gang’! Go girl power! It is to be produced by Anubhav Sinha, and directed by Soumik Sen,” Madhuri wrote on her Facebook page.

Madhuri Dixit launches comeback with “Dedh Ishqiya”

Mahuri Dixit confirms comeback

After a five year absence Madhuri Dixit has confirmed that she will play the lead in Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Dedh Ishqiya”.

Directed by Abhishek Choubey, “Dedh Ishqiya” is a sequel to 2010 film “Ishqiya”, which starred Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.

“Hey guys, back in action. On set for Star’s ‘Life OK’. Am doing ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ and ‘Jhalak…’ is right around the corner. More to come! Thanks for all ur patience and support!,” she posted on her Twitter page. The sequel retains Naseer and Arshad in prominent roles.
