Deepika Padukone attended the Jabong event wearing a polka dot short ensemble. Answering media questions she said that she liked Anushka and Kangana’s styles, loves shopping and one of her favourite shopping destination besides Dubai and Singapore is London. Although we loved her showing of her lean lovely legs why are we not in love with the outfit? It’s just a too busy top half with the blue arm panels and not loving it one bit.

Also, plenty of water, balanced meals, regular workouts and adequate sleep figure on my must have list.

Since my work involves a lot of travelling and exposure to extreme climatic conditions, it ends up taking a toll on my hair. I get tender coconut hair oil massages at least once a week. It helps me protect my hair from any form of damage”.

Vogue Eyewear announces Deepika Padukone as the new face of its communication campaign for 2013. Deepika is also the first Indian face of the brand in India; she follows in footsteps of fashion icons Gisele Bündchen, Kate Moss and Eva Mendes.

Deepika Padukone was a part of the IPL opening ceremony with her performance on some of the biggest songs of 2012, from her film Cocktail. This year is going to see Deepika in four big films. With gruelling shoot schedules, it becomes very difficult for actors to take time off for anything else. And when they do, they usually prefer relaxing or spending time with family and friends. But Deepika is quite the exception!

She recently flew to Kolkata to perform at the opening ceremony of the 6th Indian Premiere League. Deepika kick-started the opening ceremony followed by performances by Katrina, SRK & international artiste Pitbull. After setting the stage on fire at the IPL, she flew to Mumbai the next day and shot throughout for her upcoming project.

Deepika Padukone, who teamed up with ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor after five years in forthcoming film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” (YJHD), says they are not into a relationship any more but are friends for life.

“Ranbir and I were in a relationship. But we are friends now and will be for life. We know each other well and we had a lovely time shooting (the film),” Deepika said in a statement.

“Moreover, we were more like our characters than ourselves on the sets. I forget about my personal life when I am in character,” added the actress who was last seen with Ranbir in 2008 release “Bachna Ae Haseeno”.

Deepika Padukone says she had fun playing “wicked” in “Cocktail”. Now gearing up for distinct films like “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” and “Ram Leela”, the actress says she is happy that she gets a “fair amount of choices” in Bollywood.

“Yes, I get a fair amount of choices. There are so many different kinds of films being made, and therefore so many roles. 2012 was an amazing year for cinema. 2013 seems equally exciting,” Deepika said.

Working with her former beau Ranbir Kapoor in “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” wasn’t an uncomfortable experience for the 27-year-old.
