Kareena Kapoor, who has won as many as six Filmfare awards, feels her cousin Ranbir is giving her tough competition and may soon break her record — but she adds that it would be a big moment for her.

“Since I was a child, I always thought I will win a Filmfare and give an acceptance speech, where I will thank my mother, father and family. My Filmfare trophies will follow me till my grave. Hopefully, not only six but many more,” said Kareena.

We have been hearing recently how pleased Karan Johar is with Kareena Kapoor’s work in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, so no surprises that she is the ‘chosen’ one for Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor forthcoming film. It was reported that Ekta Kapoor opted for Katrina Kaif to bag the role but Karan Johar was more keen on Bebo. Bebo is said to have rejected two major projects like Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express and Milan Luthria’s Once upon A Time In Mumbaai 2 for this project.

The casting of the film has not been complete yet so wonder who the male lead will be ?

Looks like Kareena Kapoor being the granddaughter of Raj Kapoor  has inherited his directorial talent. It was during the making of the film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Kareena showed her skill of being behind the camera. It is reported that Karan Johar was impressed with Kareena ‘s talent that it is rumoured that Kareena might direct a film for Dharma Productions. Coming from such a solid backgound in films we are sure that Kareena Kapoor will do well if given the chance.

Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan are busy promoting their upcoming film Ek Main Aur Ek Tu which will hit the screens soon. Kareena wore a beautiful red Dior gown looking just so hot. Kareena can wear a potato sack and still look gorgeous in our opinion. With loose waves and no jewels to distract anyone from her look we felt that she got it right.

First there were rumours that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will get engaged on the 10th February 2012 but no word from the couple so can we safely say that its not true. It was also reported that Saif will marry Kareena in 2012 and wasn’t there news that Kareena was shopping for jewellery? Now its appear that this is also not true. When are Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor getting married? Now its been speculated that the couple has plans to get married next year 2013, as both have lots to do this year.

Saif is completely focusing on his next big release Agent Vinod opposite to Kareena Kapoor. Also, Kareena is too busy for Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Imran Khan. Work is always going to be there ….if they can just give us a date.

Now this is what we call true love. Imran Khan says that his wife Avantika’s invaluable suggestions and comments have helped him in his filmy career.

“I have always felt that when Avantika sees my films, criticises something and points out some flaws, that is always correct, always spot-on. I always take her opinion into account,” said the 29-year-old who married his long-time girlfriend in January 2011.

His romantic comedy “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” is releasing Friday. Meanwhile, the actor is pretty excited about working with Vishal Bhardwaj in “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola”, in which he will team up with Anushka Sharma, Shabana Azmi and Pankaj Kapur.

The film will go on floors on Valentine’s Day.

A film on our ‘to see’ list as well. Karan Johar’s “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu” has yet to hit the screens but the filmmaker has already recovered Rs.21 crore which he had invested in producing the romantic comedy starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

The production budget of the film was Rs.21 crore and the maker spent another Rs.8 crore on print, advertising and publicity etc.

There is no stopping Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan as they hot it up to promote “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu”. Snapped at their latest promotion at National College Festival Kareena Kapoor steppted out in a sky blue tunic over denims, simple sandals and let her wavy hair down. Imran Khan decided to sport the casual look as well. We think Kareena Kapoor looks great with her skinny deans and simple top. Do you agree or  disagree?
