Sridevi flaunted saris in her comeback movie “English Vinglish” and looked pretty. The actress says in real life too she prefers Indian clothes, especially six yards, and she is not a brand person.

Sridevi says, “Well, definitely I love good brands, but at the same time I am not obsessed with them. I go for anything as long as it looks good on me. I am definitely someone who prefers Indian clothes especially saris.”

Sridevi does have a fascination for Sabyasachi and she says, “I always like him and from ‘English Vinglish’ days, I really started liking his clothes. My favourites are Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi and of course, few more designers but these two really come first.”

Shilpa Shetty is seen shooting at the sets of the television show Nach Baliye in a pink gold and black Masaba saree. Bipasha Basu has been seen wearing a similar saree ealier too.

Shilpa Shetty accessorises with big earrings whilst Bipasha Basu opts for a big necklace! Both left their hair loose.

Sridevi may have made a comeback with critically acclaimed “English Vinglish”, but her daughter Jhanvi is in no mood to enter Bollywood, at least now.

“I don’t know. I am still studying and it’s too early. I am very indecisive,” the 15-year-old said here Monday at the unveiling of the cover of People magazine featuring Sridevi.  (more…)

Christmas has come early for Boney Kapoor. His adoring wife Sridevi has splashed out and bought him a Porsche. We are sure that Sridevi will be zooming around in it as well…clever girl!!

Not only that, Sridevi was also Porsche India’s 100th customer. Maybe Sridevi timed it real well so that she could be the 100th customer or maybe it was just plain luck for the English Vinglish star.

Aren’t they going to be the flashiest celebrity couple zooming around?

Mandira Bedi has some busy schedule. She was spotted at the GQ Awards, English Vinglish première and more recently at Ballentine’s Salt N Pepper preview party.

So what do you wear? One thing for sure Mandira likes her bold red shades. Out of the three events she opted twice for hot sexy red dresses. At the première of English Vinglish she unleashed her wild side with a touch of animal black and white print outfit and finished her look with a red clutch.

Out of the three looks we think she looked seductive and flattering in the red and black dress at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2012.

Both Madhoo Shah and Shilpa Shetty attended the English Vinglish première yesterday wearing the same colour palette designs.

Shilpa who attended with her husband Raj Kundra opted for a Tarun Tahiliani outfit. She completed her look with side swept hair, Madhoo however opted for a Rohit Bal design.

Vidya Balan is certainly loyal to her favourite Sabyasachi and she did not disappoint again at the première of English Vinglish last night.

She opted for a yellow/orange anarkali with a black hem. It was a bit boring for us.

Sridevi’s comeback film “English Vinglish” Thursday turned to be the biggest premiere of the year so far where the entire film fraternity came to cheer this diva who is appearing on the big screen after 15 years.

Sridevi graced the premiere with her family including Boney Kapoor, daughter Jhanvi and Kushi.

Among other celebrities and women actresses who came to cheer Sridevi were Tabu, Jaya Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kangana Ranaut, Tisca Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Ayesha Takia, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sonali Kulkarni.
