Is Farah Khan the first one to display her blue satchel and set a trend? Cambridge Satchel Company has won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its outstanding achievement in international trade. Already popular with Alexa Chung, Gizzi Erksine and Frankie Sandford we have only seen its appearance once in Bollywood land.

We think that the blue satchel that Farah Khan is holding is from Cambridge Satchel Company and if it than whooohooo Farah…way to go!!

South Africa India Film and Television Awards (SAIFTA) by Celebrity Locker is the first of its kind awards ceremony bringing Bollywood to Durban to felicitate talent from both countries in the sphere of cinema and television.

A curtain raiser ceremony was conducted to unveil the trophy, logo and other collateral on 22nd March in Durban. Glamorous Bollywood stars that jetted in for the event included, Dia Mirza, Richa Chadda, Raveena Tandon and Farah Khan, who are on the SAIFTA judging panel.

Farah Khan Ali on the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa launched her new flagship store in Mumbai. Her guests included Tanaaz Doshi, Farah Khan, Laila Lamba, Sushmita Sen all in bright orange and reddish outfits.

Tanaaz Doshi: Nice dress. Love the ruffle front. Nice matching strappy sandals with Alexander McQueen clutch

Farah Khan: Another dull tunic and this time she managed to bring her kiddies school satchel

Around 70 people including 30 celebrities walked the ramp as designer Vikram Phadnis showcased his fashion line Monday at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2013 on the theme of celebration of rural India.

Ashutosh Gowariker, Anurag Basu, Vaibhavi Merchant, Ekta Kapoor, Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar, Kunal Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Poonam Sinha, Vaibhavi Merchant, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan, Farah Khan, Rohit Bal, Dia Mirza, Jitendra, Sushant Singh Rajput, Juhi Chawla among others walked the ramp supporting the noble cause.

Phadnis also made it a point to include various common people from Swades foundation who walked with the celebrities.

Phadnis partnered with Swades Foundation, an NGO working for the empowerment of rural India, for his fashion show. He dedicated his line to this cause.

We think Farah Khan could vary her wardrobe a bit as we always see her in long dressy type outfits.

At Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Birthday party Farah Khan is wearing a long crinkly biscuit colour dress with accents of blue and she has her sleeves rolled up…why not get an outfit that is short sleeved to begin with? At the FICCI Flo awards she is wearing a black and red ensemble but dresses it up by styling her hair and a hint of makeup!

Hema Malini, Farah Khan, Anita Dongre and Lillette Dubey were amongst the ladies to grace the FICCI-FLO womens Achievers Awards.

Whilst many dressed for the occasion and we must say that Lillette Dubey looked stunning in her vibrant purple and red saree Hema Malini left us bemused with her choice of outfit light grey floaty top paired with a long dark grey skirt and very minimal make-up!

Bhavna Jasra’s Gallery was inaugurated by new mum Shilpa Shetty (who also got her baby’s and parents impressions in gold finish done by Bhavna Jasra) .Mrs Tina Ambani who is the Chairperson of the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital was present too.

Guests such as Farah Khan, Wardha Nadiadwala, Maria Goretti, Kiran Bawa, Pooja Bedi and Geeta Basra amongst many others got the opportunity to view a variety of impressions displayed in different metallic finishes
