Huma Qureshi ‘I have been working hard like insane’ (INTERVIEW)
Actress Huma Qureshi, who garnered positive response for her role in “Gangs Of Wasseypur”, says things are changing and actors like Vidya Balan and Kalki Koechlin are refining the quintessential role of a glamour doll in the showbiz.
Huma told reporters: “I think that is changing very, very fast. Today look at what Vidya has done – she has changed things for women. Be it me, Konkona (Sen Sharma), or Kalki – we all are refining the quintessential role of a glamour doll in Bollywood … Thanks to many directors and writers who are coming up with fantastic story and ideas.”
Post “Gangs of Wasseypur”, Huma has been described as an unconventional actress who wowed everyone with her work in the gritty celluloid saga of coal mafia.
Huma Qureshi ‘I don’t give a damn to these kind of reports’
Huma Qureshi says she doesn’t care about any rumours surrounding her camaraderie with “Gangs Of Wasseypur” producer Anurag Kashyap.
“I don’t give a damn to these kind of reports. If I let it bother me, it will affect my relationship with people who have helped me, who have believed in me. It will affect my work and I don’t want these stories or anything like that to affect my relationships with people who I care about, who have mentored me,” Huma told reporters.
“At the end of the day, I don’t want to say anything about it. I just laugh it out. I rather let my work do the talking. Ultimately, today you will talk about it, tomorrow you will forget about it. Eventually what matters is your work,” she added.

Richa Chadda was recently spotted at the Gangs Of Wasseypur screening at the 12th Osian Cinefan Festival of India in a beautiful understated sari by Nishant Bangar.
She completed her look with jewellery from Amrapali.

Debarun Mukherjee showcased his collection called “Omnipresent” at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012.
Debarun chose the colour blue as a constant for his creations as well as added beige and black for the base, to give depth to his creativity and had flared and layered dhoti skirts, mandarin collar tops, elegant pleated pants and luxurious saris.
Ending the show was Richa Chadda, star of the hit Bollywood film, “Gangs of Wasseypur” in a gorgeous asymmetric double layered ghagra with black velvet waistcoat and churi sleeved blouse.

Reema Sen thanks Vidya Balan for making curves trendy (PHOTOS)
Reema Sen is “amazed” at the viewers response to her role of sensuous Durga in “Gangs of Wasseypur”, and thanks Vidya Balan for making curves trendy.
“I never thought that people will be so ga ga over the character. People have found a cotton sari and a quarter second back shot so sexy – I am amazed,” Reema said
“Anurag had told me that people were going to go crazy over my character but I never expected this,” added the actress attributing her success to Vidya.
Gangs Of Wasseypur cast celebrate their success ( PHOTOS)
The cast of Gangs Of Wasseypur took time out yesterday to enjoy their success at the box office at a party at Escobar in Mumbai.
The film maker Anurag Kashyap said at the bash that the movie’s success has given him a lot of power and strength to continue doing work.
“We thought that people were liking the film, but in the first three days, we didn’t collect so much. But even that collection has been the biggest of my life. The kind of film this is and the kind of actors there are, the collection was big,” Kashyap said
The party was an extravagant event with the cast including the girls posing with rifles !
Stars who were in attendance were Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, Reema Sen and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Now let’s all get ready for the Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 which is to be released on August 8th

Amitabh Bachchan gives thumbs up and recommends ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’
Amitabh Bachchan is impressed with director Anurag Kashyup film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ who has allowed the visuals to flow as they would and says he would “strongly” recommend it.
Based on a true story by Zeishan Quadri, the film is set in Wasseypur, Jharkhand, known for gang war between between gangster Faheem Khan and businessman Sabir Alam over a scrap business.
Bollywood celebs attend the screening of Gangs of Wasseypur wearing red scarves
Ranbir Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Dia Mirza and Imtiaz Ali and many more were seen at the screening of Gangs of Wasseypur.
Gangs of Wasseypur is a story which starts from the end of colonial India. The film explores a revenge tale through the socio-political dynamic in Wasseypur, Jharkhand, also known for coal and scrap trade gang.
A two-part series, the film was screened at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival and received critical acclaim.
