Parineeti Chopra has been on a weight loss spree but clarifies it is not specifically for her upcoming Karan Johar production “Hasee Toh Phasee”.

“There have been a lot of rumours that I am losing weight for ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, but that’s not true. I will just try and lose as much as I can, so I can look as good as I can in my next film,” the 24-year-old said here Monday at the unveiling of new range of Nivea products.

“I was anyway planning to lose weight because for ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, I had to be a little chubby and then of course, I started losing for ‘Ishaqzaade’. But I want to look a little better, so I decided to lose weight anyway,” she added.

Arjun Kapoor reveals he has a huge crush on actress Kareena Kapoor and would do anything to grab a chance to work with her.

The actor, who made a successful debut with “Ishaqzaade”, made the candid confession during UTV Stars’ “Live My Life 2″ show, which lets a lucky fan, be in the shoes of his or her favourite Bollywood celebrity for a day.

Asked by his fan Amulya, as to who would he like to work with from the industry, Arjun said: Kareena Kapoor! I have a huge crush on her and will literally give my right arm to work with her! I really, really want to work with her!?

The episode featuring Arjun will be aired Sunday.

Arjun Kapoor says he could not stand his “Ishaqzaade” lead heroine Parineeti Chopra during their training days in Lucknow.

“I hated Parineeti when we went for those three days… We didn’t really get along at that point of time,” the 27-year-old said here Thursday while talking to students at filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s acting school Whistling Woods International.

“We both couldn’t stand each other when she got finalised. I liked what she did in the audition, so I couldn’t ever disagree that she would not be right for the role,” he added.

Meanwhlile, “Ishaqzaade” director Habib Faisal commented upon the wicked smile that Arjun sports in the film and said: “His smile, if you have seen the film, that smile is Arjun Kapoor’s own smile which I then made Parma’s smile. That smiles suggests shrewd, romance, a psycho…there was so much I could do with the smile and that smile was Arjun Kapoor’s own smile.”

Arjun will now be seen in Yash Raj films’ “Virus Diwan” and has also been finalised for “2 States”.

We have had the Kapoor reign in Bollywood and now it could be the turn off the Chopra’s. There is already Priyanka Chopra and recently her cousin Parineeti joined the industry, now Bollywood is going to be hit by Barbie who is Priyanka’s bua’s (aunt’s) daughter.

Barbie has already shot ad for Dabur with Priyanka Chopra and we could see more of her. Parineeti Chopra has already wooed the public with her Ishaqzaade hinted that we could see more cousins joining Bollywood she would like her own Chopra clan take over Bollywood.

Bollywood is already riddled with family clans so it’s not so surprising that another cousin of Priyanka is entering the scene.

Let’s see if this healthy rivalry continues amongst the cousins but there can only be one Queen Bee. Who will that be?

Arjun Kapoor, whose debut film “Ishaqzaade” has received acclaim from audiences and critics alike, believes that a star surname is not the criteria for success.

“You are as good as what you do in front of the camera. Nothing else matters, your surname, from where you come or where you will go … The audience is very intelligent. It gauges you and knows if they want to see you or not,” the 26-year-old said at an event here Friday.

Arjun made his point by citing “Band Baaja Baaraat” actor Ranveer Singh’s example.

“Ranveer (Singh) is a prime example of that. Somebody like him came out of nowhere. It just shows the audience wants to see good films and good work. Nothing else matters eventually,” he said.

Arjun’s debut film “Ishaqzaade” also featured Parineeti Chopra, actress Priyanka Chopra’s cousin sister.

The opening of Cinema100, a three day film festival celebrating 100 glorious years of Indian cinema took place at the Whistling Woods International campus. A. R. Rahman was specially invited to inaugurate Cinema100, in the heart of Film City.

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor were seen at the inaugural ceremony. Parineeti Chopra wore a simple black shift dress with grey pumps. Is she copying Priyanka’s style? It’s something that you would see her wear.

Can someone also tell Parineeti and Arjun that their film Ishaqzaade is over and they don’t have to display the gun firing actions all the time at events? C’mon guys stop it.

Parineeti Chopra has only hit Bollywood and already rumours are flying about of her link with Jackky Bhagnani. Jackky hotly disputes this and rubbish such reports saying that they really are just friends.

“Nothing like that. I would not say we are just friends because then you will say that everyone says this. But I think we are just friends, she is a lovely girl. I have met her twice or thrice so there is nothing like that,” Jackky told reporters.

“I saw ‘Ishaqzaade’ and I thought both Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti were outstanding and fabulous,” he added.

After the success of Ishaqzaade there was only thing left to do and that was throw a party.

Priyanka Chopra being the dutiful older Chopra hosted the party. Parineeti Chpra and Arjun Kapoor with the rest of the team of the film attended the event.

Now that the new comers have shown that they are successes we wonder what their next ventures are.

Doesn’t Priyanka look so happy, almost bursting with pride to see a younger Chopra family member do so well?
