Vijay Balhara collection named “Junk Glamour” at WIFW 2012 was based on rural inspiration, surface texturing, heritage motifs, Indian fabrics and and overall non traditional look. The collection consisted of smocks, maxi dresses, embellished skirts, drop crotch pants, shift dresses and open front anarkalis. The collection was fabricated in silk chiffon, geogrette, pure silk, satin cotton, wool and jersey. The colour palette was dominated by shades of grey, brown, lilac, green , red, blue and lot of gold. Models hair was slick tied back with side parting and natural makeup giving the overall look as chic but very classic.

Our favourite was light pink embellished tunic with violet top [photo 10]
