Manish Malhotra says that his designs are not for women who are size zero. He believes the size zero concept is passé, and that women concentrate more on fitness nowadays.

“Size zero is passé. Women are fit today. Look at the actresses! Even with children, they look amazing. But my clothes are not for size zero women,” Malhotra told reporters in an interview.

He has designed costumes for a plethora of actresses like Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.

Manish Malhotra, known for styling Bollywood celebrities, says no stores in Canada or the US carry his designs and people should be careful in case someone tries to trick them.

“No store in Canada carry my original clothes, neither does any in the US. So guys please be aware when you all are told they are originals, case they are not,” Malhotra posted on Twitter.

Known for his extravagant and rich designs, the 47-year-old who has styled celebrities like Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, is currently in Vancouver, Canada, for an award ceremony.

Ajay Devgn considers himself lucky that Kajol is his life partner.

The couple, who tied the knot in 1999, have worked together in movies like “Ishq”, “Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha” and “U Me Aur Hum”.

Talking about the importance of Kajol in his life, Ajay said: “I’m very lucky to have her in my life. She is a very strong support system for me.”

The couple has two children – daughter Nysa and son Yug.

The 43-year-old will be seen talking about his life on UTV Stars’ show “Yeh Hai Meri Kahani”.

An exclusive collection celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema was showcased by Manish Malhotra at Lakme Fashion Week.

It was star studded affair and after the show the celebs Bhanu Athaiya, Hema Malini, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Asha Bhosle, Kajol, Karishma Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Esha Gupta, and many more posed for the paparazzi.

Manish Malhotra Friday dedicated his line to 100 years of Indian cinema at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2013.

The show started with four filmmakers of “Bombay Talkies” — Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar.

The designs started off from the black and white era and had a collection of lehengas and kurtas. After this came the colour era with bright colours like pink, green and yellow. The clothes had detailed embroidery work on them as well. This was followed by a vibrant range of patterns like polka dotted clothes which was later followed more modern apparel.

Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan walking the ramp. Kajol and Karishma were also invited to walk the ramp with Manish Malhotra.

Kajol speaking on the third day of the 14th edition of Ficci-Frames 2013, said that she will not mind doing an item number if its requirement is justified in the film.

“I love watching item numbers and any film that is entertaining. If the film demands it and if the item number is adding to the film, helping take the story forward I don’t mind doing an item number,” she said when asked if she will be comfortable with it.
She also said that she has not been able to find a script that will drive her back into acting in films.

“I do not mind an out of the box script, but I seriously feel there is a dearth of good, tight scripts. I have been an avid reader since I was eight-year-old. I have read a lot and hence, need to have a script that matches up to it,” she said.

We just can’t make out Kajol’s styles. Seen at Araish’s show she opted to wear a chocolate coloured long dress with her hair pulled back complete with a hair ornament.

No doubt we do like her make up but is this not hovering on girly cutey side of things? Ok let’s be really honest….don’t like the baggy dress on her at all.
