The music launch of “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2″ Tuesday was a star- studded event with Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Rakesh Roshan, Kunal Kohli, and Juhi Chawla making the occasion extra special.

In lighter vein, Dharmendra said: “I have always wanted to say this and today everyone is there including the media. I want to say that I am the no. 1 dancer. My son Sunny has planned a special song for me, ‘Main aida hi nachna’.”

Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2″ stars Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva. The film is all set to release June 7.

Can Javed and Aradhana still be together? Will Ruksar realize that Govind’s feeling for her were genuine? Will Krish be able to clear the misunderstandings?

Shahid Kapoor, who plays a struggling musician of the 1960s in his forthcoming film “Teri Meri Kahaani,” says that portion is inspired by the superstars of that era – Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar – and is a tribute to the legendary actors.

“The film talks about three eras – 1910, 1960 and 2012. The era that you are talking about, the 1960s, Dev saab, Mr. Raj Kapoor, Dilip saab, they were the biggest stars. I am playing a character of that time, a struggling musician. So, whatever we have done is inspired by them,” the 31-year-old said here Monday on the sets of “Dance India Dance”.

” Director Kunal Kohli wanted to pay a little tribute to them. So, a little bit is inspired from them. I don’t think anybody can do what they have really done,” added Shahid, who stars opposite Priyanka Chopra in the film.

Shahid Kapoor celebrated his 31st birthday Saturday with 30 of his close friends in Goa and says he had a blast.

“Just spent the last two days with 30 of the maddest, funnest people… Great to feel friendship, love, real smiles and joy with those who matter. Will miss you Goa… You really are special,” Shahid posted on his Twitter page.

“Home to family now… ok people time to get onto that plane and back to reality… Home, family and Kaizer (dog), I miss them… Love you all, thank you,” he added.

Several celebrities attended the birthday party including filmmaker Kunal Kohli, photographer Atul Kasbekar  and others including Nargis Fakhri and Tabu.

After the trip, Kasbekar tweeted: “@shahidkapoor Whattey trip. Thank you for the most amazing time. And a happy happy again.”

Kohli  who is directing Shahid in his next, wrote: “Had a great time in Goa @shahidkapoor was a great host, two days of just Goa, fun, food and drinks.”

Shahid Kapoor promotes Pioneer car stereo systems. The actor is the brand ambassador of Pioneer. While most actors have chock-a-block shooting schedules in 2012, Shahid Kapoor has no qualms in admitting that he has no work on hand as of now.

The actor recently wrapped up shooting for Kunal Kohli’s tentatively titled “Teri Meri Kahaani“, in which he features with Priyanka Chopra. But after that, he is still waiting to lock something.

“I don’t like to comment on any of my films till the producers make an official announcement. All I can say is I don’t have any films right now. So right now I am unemployed,” Shahid told reporters at an event organised here Monday by electronics company Pioneer India.
