Amy Jackson Style Diaries [Part 4]
Spotted at Lakme Fashion Week, Amy wore an LBD along with purple heels and a black clutch. I love the silver details around dress but I don’t really think purple is the right color for the shoe. Maybe a nice silver to accompany the detail in the dress? But Amy, didn’t you get the memo? Casual is cool when outside the ramp.

Vaishali Shadangule “Khand” Collection at LFW 2012
Vaishali Shadangule called her collection “Khand” which means Sugar and used 36 inches width fabric with great imagination and ingenuity and added on maroon and deep blue to show the Maharashtra handloom
Vaishali used the rich textures imaginatively for lovely women’s wear. Also using Chanderi discreetly, Vaishali mixed the two for a collection of long drapes, tunics, shirts, stole, jumpsuits, jackets, saris and kurtas.
The silhouettes were eccentric with lots of asymmetry amongst the garments and layering which gave that rural feel. For women who love tradition and heritage textiles, Vaishali Shadangule’s collection “Khand” created a stylish impact.

Rocky Star “gothic collection” at LFW 2012
Most probably the most dramatic show of all at Lakme Fashion Week 2012, Rocky S kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Think dark autumn smouldering nights with whirling leaves and angels. The show was stimulating yet had classy look with fantastic fabrics which included georgette, chiffon, satin and silk.
The very gothic collection had the models with wildly flowing tousled hair boldly walking the ramp to loud solemn music. Rocky S chose ivory, dark mystic black, dull grey and nude for the very stylish show stopping creations.
