Parineeti Chopra and Varun Dhawan delighted their fans attending the launch of Tencent’s WeChat messenger application in Mumbai. Interesting to see that Parineeti Chopra, opted to wear a green Zara skirt to go with the launch colours. Not really our choice and we get the impression the Parineeti is off to a basketball match in her team colours…minus the pump shoes of course. Too girly for us.

Parineeti Chopra has been on a weight loss spree but clarifies it is not specifically for her upcoming Karan Johar production “Hasee Toh Phasee”.

“There have been a lot of rumours that I am losing weight for ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, but that’s not true. I will just try and lose as much as I can, so I can look as good as I can in my next film,” the 24-year-old said here Monday at the unveiling of new range of Nivea products.

“I was anyway planning to lose weight because for ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, I had to be a little chubby and then of course, I started losing for ‘Ishaqzaade’. But I want to look a little better, so I decided to lose weight anyway,” she added.

Manish Malhotra showcased his signature ensembles with Kashmiri work in London as a part of a Gala fundraiser. Manish showcased a collection which was reminiscent of contemporary India and its craftsmanship.

Parineeti Chopra and Urmila Matondkar walked the ramp to support Manish Malhotra and the Gala Fundraiser.

Manish Malhotra said of his support for the Gala Fundraiser, and the response on the evening: “I can think of no better association than the Gala Fundraiser for my show in London after a decade. As celebrities, it is our role and responsibility to lead by example and if I can make a small change by lending my support, then I have achieved something.”

Parineeti Chopra opted to wear a turquoise blue Manish Malhotra anarkali at the unveiling of Late Yash Chopra’s statue.

Before we talk about her outfit we have to mention her hair. Has she recently changed her hairdresser? Never have her tresses looked so sleek and nice before. Whatever she is using on her hair or whoever is looking after her locks she just better continue with them.

Now for the outfit. Yes we like the colour, yes she looks nice, and yes she is becoming more style conscious. The only yes she is not going to get is for her shoes.

Amitabh Bachchan performed the song “Jumma chumma” at the Stardust Awards and he was really overwhelmed when some of the leading ladies of Bollywood, including Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra, joined him on the stage for the gig.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted “Abhishek in New York for shoot, so I went up for his too… double trouble tonight (Saturday)! They asked me to dance to ‘Jumma Chumma’ (from the film ‘Hum’). I asked during ‘Jumma…’ who do I have to kiss? And all the lovely ladies in the front row ran up the stage – guess who?

“Vidya, Priyanka, Parineeti (Chopra), Anushka(Sharma), Bipasha (Basu)…and I gave them all a peck. It’s been a generous day,” he further tweeted.
