It was exciting to see celebrities on the ramp at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013 Day 1 but even more exciting to see other celebrities and socialites at the event.

Marie Goretti, Mini Mathur and Shazahn Padamsee wore Masaba………after all she was showcasing. Poorna Jagannathan and Shruti Haasan opted for Shivan and Narresh while  Rhea Kapoor choose Anamika Khanna.

Poorna Jagannathan who is an ardent fan of Drastha was seen wearing her Autumn/ Winter’ 2013 white Melange silk dress with an embellished neck yoke at the Good Earth event.

We liked the look…strangely enough the whole event [see background] made her look so appropriate and you all know what suckers we are that the dress should be right for the events.

Poorna selected wide zig zag design bracelets, Anusha Lawani clutch, and hair pulled high to complete her look.

Salome Narayana Polaki on the cover of Femina magazine March 2013. She is wearing a Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna top which we saw earlier this week when Poorna Jagannathan attended the Rolling Stones Rock Awards in the same top.

Poorna Jagannathan attended the Rolling Stones Rock Awards in a Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna ensemble.

It is an unusual design comprising of varied textures using a fine mesh to hold the sleeveless top together with black beading detail to the side completed with wide leg trousers.

Poorna Jagannathan kept the look simple with droplet earrings and hair swept back.

Poorna Jagannathan wore an a blue halter neck maxi at One Billion Rising Party.

Poorna styled her maxi once again with her new short hairstyle. Can’t say that she is looking sensational but it’s a nice colour that suits her skin tone. Do wish that she wore a pretty pair of shoes. The ones that she has on, from what we can see look rather drab.

Poorna Jagannathan opted for Gaurav Gupta at Le Mill Moët & Chandon Dinner.
We like the print and the cut of the outfit and this time round glad that Poorna has a slicker hairstyle but that’s as far as our attention went.

We can’t say that it’s amazing or blew us away. It was a predictable look from Poorna Jagannathan

Poorna Jagannathan wore an Elton Fernandez design at Midnight’s Children premiere. Interesting outfit which had a high low hem and decorative ivory bodice.

The colour of the skirt was divine. Not sure how exactly to describe it but would say that it was close to a dusky blue. Suits Poorna rather well as the  overall colours are beautiful and look flattering on her
