Jumpsuits a challenging fashion statement are back again and Bollywood gals just love them. We have seen recently Deepika Padukone in her orange Alexander McQueen jumpsuit at People Magazine special unveiling, Kajol in Turquoise & Gold at Lonavala Khandala Citizens Forum and Priyanka Chopra in ALC Joanna jumpsuit at Aurus. Our favourite was Deepika and Priyanka’s look with Kajol’s jumpsuit least liked. In fact we don’t think that we would like anybody to be seen in the multi coloured jumpsuit. Do you agree?

Bollywood ladies are showing their love for leather jackets the latest being Jacqueline Fernandez. Priyanka Chopra is probably the one who has given us the most sighting of her in rock chick edgy look in her leather jacket. Not all the jackets appealed to us and our least favourite look is of Soha Ali Khan. Worn right a leather jacket can really pep up your look but make sure that it’s authentic…and right colour

Big-budget Indian movies are setting trends in high-end fashion and costume designing; say Falguni and Shane Peacock, who have designed for the likes of Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez as well as Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu back home.

“Indian cinema and fashion have always gone hand in hand. In each time period, a fashion trend has evolved due to Indian cinema. So, for instance, the 1970s saw the hippie trend and flower power in Indian cinema. The current Indian cinema is very big on high-end fashion,” Falguni told IANS.

Added Shane: “We have big budget movies such as ‘Cocktail’, ‘Student of The Year’ and ‘Race 2′, which spent a lot of money on designer wear and designer bags or shoes. Every era has created a different fashion statement. India as a country is very big on Bollywood so everything seen on our actors and actresses is aped by generations.”

Love the shades, hair, and the energetic colour of her pants. We are not super fans of her black shoes, but this is overall a cute, yet casual smart look.
