With the release of the exclusive first look poster of Eros International & Bhansali Production’s Ram Leela – leading lady Deepika Padukone is the cynosure of all eyes, as her rustic-desi avatar was an immediate hit.

The lehenga she sports in the poster weighed a whopping 30 kgs and has a 50 meter ghera designed by Anju Modi, who went out of her way to bring the intricacies of Kutch to Deepika’s wardrobe in Ram Leela to meet Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s exacting standards.
Says designer Anju “Sanjay and I were very clear about the look we wanted to give Deepika. So, while the lehengas had to reflect the royal lineage of the Kutch region, they also had to have a very contemporary feel as Ram Leela is not a period drama,”

There is a whisper going around that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to get Priyanka Chopra to play the 29-year-old boxer Mary Kom in his next production.

Mary Kom as we all know is the Olympic boxing champion and it was only a matter of time when someone would make a film about her journey.

Nothing has been signed or anything and there could be other Bollywood babes that might get the role.

Now who would be a good choice? What about Bipasha Basu? She looks like the kinda of girl who would be great at boxing.

The cast of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi were thrilled as they had Shahrukh Khan to join their celebrations of the launch of the films music launch.

Shahrukh also revealed the third poster which is an imitation of Shahrukh and Kajol in the legendary romantic movie ‘Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ back then and went on to acting a scene from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bela Sehgal Bhansali were also present to launch the music for the movie.

Akshay Kumar has thanked his fans for giving “Rowdy Rathore” the biggest single opening of his career.

“I owe a HUGE thank you to my audience! You are the only reason behind the biggest opening weekend of my career! Love Rowdy,” Akshay tweeted.

The film, directed by Prabhu Deva, is Akshay’s widest release so far – it opened on 2,800 screens in the country.

Co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala, the film marked Akshay’s return to a full-fledged action role after seven years.

Kareena Kapoor has finally shot a song and a scene for Rowdy Rathore as she knows Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-producer Shabinaa Khan as good friends.

When Shabinaa approached Kareena for this role for this Kareena had agreed immediately. The scene and song were shot in Film city last week. Kareena has not only done the song but she has not charged anything for it.
