At the recent Marc Cain store launch we saw Sushma Reddy, Evelyn Sharma and Vanya Mishra in animal print dresses by Marc Cain.

Sushma Reddy was in a black and white zebra print with black strappy sandals, Evelyn Sharma was in a pink and black leopard print dress with beige pumps and Vanya Mishra was in a lack and print with elements of pink and green.

Which of these dresses takes your fancy?

Miss India Vanya Mishra did the honours of inaugurating a jewellery boutique called Entice at Borivali.

Looking pretty in blue dress and black heels she spent time drooling over the jewels and why not.

The Femina Miss India beauty pageant Tuesday kick started the celebrations of its 50 years

The first Miss India Meher Castellino, was joined by other former Miss India beauties at a function here, said that even though 50 years had passed, she felt like it was just yesterday when she won the crown.

Current Miss India World Vanya Mishra said: “It was my childhood dream to wear the Miss India crown, I always wanted to be a Miss India. This is like a dream come true. Very few women have actually got an opportunity to wear this crown.”

Singer Shibani Kashyap sang a song which celebrated the true essence of being a woman.

As many as 11 top-notch designers will participate in the forthcoming Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week and they gave a sneak peek into their special creations at an introductory event.

The fashion event, which kick started with Miss India World Vanya Mishra walking the ramp in designer JJ Valaya’s A-line burgundy-coloured suit with golden embroidery.

The event took a starry turn when Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha sashayed down the ramp in a red net sari with a thin golden border created by Jyotsna Tiwari.

The five-day fashion show will be opened by Tarun Tahiliani in Mumbai Sep 12.

Nakshatra part of the Gitanjali collection had all the infinite and ethereal glamour it is renowned for. Inspired by the Kudajodi, the Nakshatra jewellery considered auspicious, showers the wearer with blessings.

Vanya Mishra, Miss India 2012 walked the ramp wearing gorgeous gold/diamond earrings and a lovely creation by Vaishali Shadungule.

But the best was yet to come, when the very glamorous Bipasha Basu, the brand ambassador of Gili, thrilled the audience with her stunning entry in a Neeta Lulla creation wearing a diamond and gold set.

Vanya Mishra misses Miss World 2012 title but bags the titles of Miss Social Media and Miss Beauty with a Purpose.

It was China’s Wen Xia Yu who was crowned the Miss World 2012 at a gala ceremony. Wales’ Sophie Moulds was adjudged the first runner-up, while Australia’s Jessica Kahawaty was the second runner-up.

Vanya Mishra is urging Indian women to share their beauty secrets and help her win the prestigious Miss World pageant crown.

“Representing India in the Miss World pageant is a great honour but with this comes a huge responsibility to live up to the expectations of millions of my well-wishers,” she said.

“I have already been putting in my best in preparing for the contest. Now I want the millions of women from India to come forward and help me in my effort by sharing with me their secret beauty tips which can help me win the global beauty pageant,”
