Thanks to actress Karishma Tanna’s towering look, she was banned from wearing high heels while shooting for upcoming movie “Grand Masti” as she looked taller than her co-star Vivek Oberoi.

Karishma, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall is just only few inches shorter than Vivek, who is 5 feet 10 inches. With high heels, Karishma looked much taller! So, director Indra Kumar and producer Ashok Thakeria ensured she wore flats throughout her scenes with him.

“We had to ban Karishma from wearing heels as she ended up looking taller than everyone, including her own co-star Vivek! Induji and Ashok Thakeriaji convinced her to get styled with flat shoes instead and she very sportingly agreed with a smile,” said a source.

“Grand Masti” is a sequel to 2004 movie “Masti”. It also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani in lead roles.

You have played the gangster Chandu, now why do you play the Cute-Gangster-Lover boy in Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story?

Vinnil Markan the director came to narrate me the story while I was shooting for Krrish 3. We had this Narration, and I called up Mr.Kumar Taurani to tell him that I am doing this film immediately. The other reason is I had already played a gangster in ‘Company’, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, and ‘Omkara’. In Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story, I found a gangster who had a totally different shade to the character. For me, it was like taking ‘Company’ and ‘Sathiyaa’ and mixing them into a new film. Jayanta from the movie is a golden-heart gangster.

Neha Sharma and Vivek Oberoi both promoted their upcoming film Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story at Reliance Jewellery Shop in Mumbai.

Not keen on Neha’s cropped stripe jacket and lemony pants. The stripes were too overwhelming running horizontal and vertical and the gold buttons made it look tacky. Standing next to Vivek Oberoi in his checked shirt did not do her any favours either.

Vivek Oberoi seems to have a really wonderful year ahead. The actor has four releases which include the Valentine Rom-Com ‘Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story’, and now he has his life’s biggest good news. Vivek and his wife Priyanka are blessed with a Baby boy.

“I have told all my producers that I am on a maternity leave. In fact I am very excited and happy that the good news day is very near. I need your prayers and blessings. Me and my wife Priyanka have already done shopping for the baby.” said the very excited Vivek Oberoi some days back.

Neha is a fan of these dresses and we like them as well. They are fun and feminine looking and suit her. She finished of her dress with peep toe shoes and added a brown belt.

Neha Sharma, the actress who was last seen in ‘Kyaa Super Cool Hain Hum’ chose to express her views about love quite clearly. Unlike, many actresses in Bollywood, The actress claimed that she is single and doesn’t mind to be in love, if the right guy walks into her life.

Neha who is ready with her next release which is Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story opposite Vivek Oberoi said “I am a die-hard romantic person. I love rom-com and for me to do romance genre is amazing experience. I love the idea of following in love. I am single right now, but I would love to fall in love with someone as I am ready to mingle.”

Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma are back on the silver screen for the upcoming romantic release Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story.

They were out yesterday kicking off their promo’s. The film is set in Mumbai and is about a gangster (Jayanta) who falls in love with a simple girl (Bhadotri).

“Jayanta is a very different character. The film is about two people from different world. There is chemistry, there is attraction but they are as though from two different planets,” Vivek Oberoi said.

“The girl is educated and polished, while Jayanta is someone who is streetwise. He does not even know how to talk to a girl and that is the fun of it,”.

The film is set to be released on February 15, 2013

Priyanka Alva who is heavily pregnant chooses to keep her baby bump covered up in saree at Zee Cine Awards and at Shaad Ali’s Wedding.

Although she did a good job of at Zee Cine Awards and the saree was much nicer, her baby bump was visible at the wedding.

She did not look so blooming at the wedding. Could it be that hubby Vivek’s ex was present there as well.
